Tags
Create custom tags for tasks, projects, and even comments in Freedcamp to create a searchable database of projects and ideas. You can tag projects themselves, as well as comments that are worth referencing later.
Searching tags is super easy, simply click on a tag while holding CTRL. A second window pops up with a list of everything associated with that tag.
You also have the ability to limit who can create tags (all users can add tags, but may not be able to create tags).
Mentions
Call people into the conversation with Mentions. Any user on your team (as well as Global Users) can be mentioned using @ followed by their name. The person mentioned will get a notification that takes them directly to the conversations, task, comment, etc., they’ve been mentioned in.
Smart Links
Freedcamp uses a system called Smart Links to help you create tasks, events, or go to specific comments within Freedcamp. Drop in a link and automatically to the exact comment/task/event you’re supposed to look at.
Smart quotes
Smart quotes let you take specific sections of text and reply directly to them. This way you can make sure that everyone knows exactly what you’re responding to, rather than having to search through a paragraph of text to find the relevant parts.
