In this article you will learn basic concepts Freedcamp uses to decide what a registered user can:

• see - data access

For example, Alice invites John to one of the 10 projects she owns. Alice also allows John to see the Discussions part of that project. John can see only one project with the only application inside of it - Discussions. On his own, John owns 5 projects Alice can not access.

• do - permissions

For example, Alice invites John to one of the 10 projects she owns as a Guest. John can only post comments in that project. Later, Alice sets John as a project administrator in another of her projects. John can add and remove applications, and users as well as have power user permissions in it.
