New Back-End Redesign
So after designing version 1.0 of the actual app, yesterday me and Eric sat down and drew on the white board until our fingers were bleeding, well not really. But we went over every aspect of usability, why things didn’t really need to be there initially visible and why other things needed to be more visible right off the bat. Finally we looked at about 30 online Apps that we thought had done something right, combined ideas, and came up with a new version of the dashboard. It’s prettier, it’s much more functional, and it uses up the screen much more efficiently. And since we are not using the old design here is a snapshot of the old design for you guys to feast your eyes on! (that’s a little bit broken version of the app… so if there are things that seem odd… they are)
We are definitely proud of our old design… but i believe that once you see the new one… well you will know why we decided to redesign.
Anyways, some quick news, we are fast approaching the private beta. That means that the counter on the front page it still valid. I will notify you if anything changes!
